Apple Film Production
Jablonski is a producer, director and founder and CEO of Apple Film, one of the leading independent producers in Central and Eastern Europe. He has produced over 40 features, as well as many successful drama series, including the first high-budget and legendary Polish series, The Cop, in 2004 for TVP. He has coproduced with most European countries, and also US and Canada, and his work has received over 300 international and national awards. In the early 2010’s together with BBC Worldwide (now BBC Studios) he set up the first scripted coproductions in the CEE region: first Spies Of Warsaw (with David Tennant) for BBC4 and TVP and Arte, then Tony Jordan’s WWI centenary series, The Passing Bells, for BBC1 and TVP – both filmed in location in Poland. In 2019-20 he directed and produced The Pleasure Principle (aka Géométrie de la mort), 10 x 50, the first ever high-end drama series originated and shot in Central and Eastern Europe, and a coproduction between Poland, Czech Republic and Ukraine. It was broadcast to great acclaim on Canal+ (Poland), sold to RAI, ARTE and Channel 4 and all around the world by Beta Film.
